I'm Mallory

I'm a teacher turned advocate for diverse learners and their families. I am passionate about bridging the gaps within education through working with students directly, consulting families, as well as consulting schools/community organizations on how to better meet the needs of diverse learners. Since starting my journey in education, I have dreamed of a world where children with different learning needs are recognized for their abilities, not disabilities, in high-quality and inclusive environments.
This is exactly what I set out to create.

A place where...

Hey friends!

Mrs. Laravie lesson plans are thorough and well thought out. She provides visual and hands-on materials to enrich her lessons. Mrs. Laravie is very organized in her planning but is still flexible in her teaching to stop and re-teach if the students are struggling with a concept. She is able to successfully balance the many duties of data collection, scheduling, running meetings, contacting parents, inputting grades all while still teaching.

A natural leader, Mrs. Laravie is a role model for her colleagues. Always willing to volunteer or help in anyway, she shines as a resource to her coworkers and our building administration. As an assistant principal, I can rely on Mrs. Laravie to go above and beyond in all facets of her responsibilities. A true lifelong learner, she is always interested in ways she could improve and professionally grow. Mrs. Laravie is someone I can always rely on to learn the new laws and procedures and assist me with ensuring the rest of our department is on board.

Ms. Laravie possesses enormous patience. Over the past few years she has taught a number of challenging students. She not only worked daily with a smile on her face, but made sure she connected with these students to try to get to know him or her better, to help them academically, socially, and behaviorally.

She has many success stories to share!
